About Gre­gory L. Kirk, MD

Dr. Gre­gory Kirk pro­vides psy­chi­atric clin­i­cal and con­sult­ing ser­vices in the Rocky Moun­tain region. Board Cer­ti­fied in both Adult and Addic­tion Psy­chi­a­try, Dr. Kirk helps clients achieve goals with com­pre­hen­sive, evidence-based treat­ment plans.

Dr. Kirk has expe­ri­ence in pub­lic health set­tings, non-profit pri­vate med­ical sys­tems, uni­ver­sity sys­tems, and inde­pen­dent con­sult­ing. While the chair of Psy­chi­a­try and Addic­tion Med­i­cine in Denver’s largest non-profit psy­chi­atric hos­pi­tal, as well as an admin­is­tra­tor in Colorado’s largest multi-specialty med­ical group, he stream­lined processes while simul­ta­ne­ously indi­vid­u­al­iz­ing care of the hos­pi­tal­ized patient. Dr. Kirk is a Senior Instruc­tor at the Uni­ver­sity of Col­orado School of Med­i­cine in addi­tion to his out­pa­tient work.

Dr. Kirk is also an expe­ri­enced expert wit­ness through­out Col­orado and Wyoming, and has been hired by defense attor­neys, plain­tiff attor­neys, pros­e­cu­tors, indi­vid­u­als, hos­pi­tal sys­tems, and insur­ance com­pa­nies to review and tes­tify about high risk psy­chi­atric, emer­gency med­i­cine, and addic­tions cases.

Dr. Kirk also teaches on sub­stance abuse and emer­gency psy­chi­a­try in com­mu­nity, pro­fes­sional, and aca­d­e­mic settings.
